about our slaterboy collection
A note from our co-owner Mina…
April 7, 2023 our sweet rainbow baby Slater Brazeal was born. He surprised us with his blonde hair & blue eyes, looking like his uncles. Beckham right away called him Slaterboy & his little nickname stuck. He was the happiest and easiest boy from the start & brought SO much joy to our lives those 13 months.
On May 17, I got a phone call that would forever change my life. Our sweet Slater had drowned and was headed to hospital. Every bit of joy left my body as we drove a long 80 minutes towards the hospital to be with him. When we arrived at hospital, there was our little guy surrounded by all Cody’s colleagues who were saving his life. They were able to get his heartbeat back but the brain damage he suffered was too much for his little body. He was transferred to Valley Children’s Hospital as we had 8 sweet days with him that were so life changing for us.
Slater got prayed over by our family and friends. He got baptized with our family around him. We worshipped & cried. Beckham got to see him in peace, and we got to experience God’s love & comfort like never before. Slater was also able to be an organ donor & help others fighting for their lives.
Today we are launching the Slaterboy line on what would have been our sweet Slater’s 2nd birthday. We imagine him celebrating today in Jesus arms, the best way with his big smile. This collection was so special to come up with as it was inspired by our little surfer / skater boy and I’m so happy to be sharing it with you. It’s easy to design, when there is so much love behind each design. Thanks for all the support & a happy birthday to our sweet Slaterboy🤍 you are forever missed.
about honeycomb
We wanted to create bamboo baby pajamas because they are our favorite choice for dressing our own babies, children and friends. Noticing a limited selection of designs, we set out to create adorable patterns while maintaining the quality and comfort that bamboo offers. It’s about giving parents more choices for their little ones, without sacrificing comfort or sustainability.
